Growth and Success - a Niche in Business Intelligence

A few months ago I wrote an article titled A Year of Giant Steps about what an amazing year this had been so far at Cedar Rose, but 2017 has been the gift that keeps on giving. Not only did Cedar Rose win the Credit Excellence Award for the Export & International category for the second year in a row, but we are now selected as the "Ones to Watch" in Cyprus by the European Business Awards 2017/18 and shortlisted for 3 categories in the MENAIR Insurance Awards 2018 raising the bar for growth and success. So 2018 is already looking (cedar) rosy with awards ceremonies to attend in Dubai in January and Warsaw in May/June and a lot of hope, positivity and excitement for our company`s future. But it`s not just awards that have made this a great year for us. We have amazing teams in Cyprus and Lebanon who have all worked extremely hard, putting the service to our clients at the heart of everything they do and following our company`s motto "Strive for Excellence" to the letter. When you have conscientious employees who really care about the standard of work they produce and the service they provide to clients there are more opportunities to give praise. Clients are also more grateful, there are less complaints and more time can be spent reading thank you letters which in turn boost morale. Also we have some great affiliations that have made networking a real pleasure for us over the past year. Our corporate partnerships with Forums International, MENA Consultants Association, Bureau Van Dijk (BVD), the Association of International Credit Directors and Professionals (AICDP) and Arab Banking Association of North America (ABANA) and our memberships of the Business Information Industry Association (BIIA), the Association of Executives in Finance, Credit and International Business (FCIB) and International Credit and Trade Finance Association ICTF have helped us to stay in touch with, and one step ahead of the fast moving business intelligence and fintech industries. Milestones were achieved where it really matters in business too - up until today (the 18th of December, 2017) we have processed an astounding 70% more orders than we did in 2016, with online downloaded reports having increased by almost 10,000%! This is due to our award-winning tool, the Automated Risk Indicator (#ARI) and the efforts we are continuously making to offer more up to date data on MENA companies available online around the clock, 7 days a week when our global clients need it. Our sales, marketing, research, data quality, IT and customer service efforts have led to a 78% increase in clients this year and our accounts department have excelled themselves in building close relationships and keeping overdue accounts to the bear minimum. And, that`s not all. We have designed a new more interactive website (coming soon in the new year) which will make accessing Middle East, African and Asian business information even easier and a lot more fun. As at today, we have almost 1.9 million companies and over 19 million linked individuals in our database and that is growing on a daily basis.
